Coach Hernandez has been coaching basketball for the last 14 years. A Bethesda-Chevy Chase native, he graduated from B-CC High School in 2005. During this time, he led the Barons to a 3A state finalist and led the school in rebounding and was the 2nd leading scorer (all time).  After graduating, he played football at Central Connecticut State University and Towson University. Coach Hernandez currently still holds records at Bethesda-Chevy Chase H.S as the all-time leader in rebounds, blocks, and games played. Coach Hernandez is also second in the record books with scoring over 1000 total points. Currently he is the Pyle M.S. boys’ basketball coach and has coached at Hoover M.S. and Bullis H.S.
